UPDATE: Coverage of the visit on 1 June

GREENOCK welcomes a brand new Cunard cruise ship this weekend.

Queen Anne will visit the Ocean Terminal on Saturday (1 June) as part of her inaugural season.

The 113,000-tonne vessel is on her British Isles Festival Voyage, which will include her naming ceremony at Liverpool.

She is due at Greenock early in the morning and is scheduled to leave around 6pm, although departure times often change at short notice.

Queen Anne will also be at Greenock on Friday 26 July, as part of an Iceland and British Isles cruise.

The ship has capacity for around 3,000 passengers, and has a crew of 1,200.

Cunard’s fleet has increased to four with the new arrival, the other vessels being Queen Mary II, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth, all of which have visited Greenock.
