LOCAL property firm Bowman Rebecchi is continuing its commitment to support young people into the workplace, welcoming Port Glasgow student James Tracey to its team.
James is currently undertaking a placement with the Gourock-based company through their ongoing partnership with the Career Ready internship programme.
He is gaining first-hand experience of working within a professional business environment while developing skills that will support his future education and career ambitions.
James is getting access to a variety of areas across the Bowman Rebecchi business, including residential and commercial property, marketing, customer service and business administration.
He said: “The internship has been a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the world of work and gain experience in a professional environment.
“I have enjoyed meeting new people, learning from experienced colleagues and developing skills that I know will help me in the future.

“Before joining Bowman Rebecchi, I knew very little about everything involved in the property industry. The placement is giving me a much better understanding of the sector and the wide range of work that takes place behind the scenes.
“It is also helping to build my confidence and provide valuable experience that I can take forward into my future career.”
Andrew Bowman, director at Bowman Rebecchi, said: “We are delighted to welcome James to the business as part of the Career Ready programme. Since joining the team, he has shown enthusiasm, curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn about the property sector and the wider business community.
“At Bowman Rebecchi we believe it is important to create meaningful opportunities for young people to develop workplace skills and gain experience that will help shape their future careers. We are proud to support James during his internship and look forward to seeing him continue to grow and develop throughout his time with us.”
