WORK to flatten the former Greenock Health Centre is well underway.
The site in Duncan Street has been sold by NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, allowing the land to be redeveloped — potentially for affordable housing, subject to planning consent.
The facility closed when a £22million complex in nearby Wellington Street opened in the spring.
