BBC school drama Waterloo Road, which was relaunched this week, was based in Inverclyde for several years.
The production crew used the ex-Greenock Academy campus in Madeira Street, with filming starting in 2012.
Many Inverclyde locations were also used for scenes including, as featured in this gallery, Battery Park, Ashton Promenade, Clyde Square and The Esplanade.
