GLEDDOCH House at Langbank wants permission for 30 glamping pods on land currently used for golf practice.
The pods would be built on the hotel’s par-three golf course, which is part of the venue’s training facilities, east of the main building.
A statement submitted to planners explains: “The addition of glamping pods would enable Gleddoch to provide an offering for a new emerging/growing market.
“It will help further develop the business and will add jobs in housekeeping, maintenance and groundskeeping.
“The scheme will be sympathetic to the natural environment with lots of planting to make guests feel at one with the local nature and surroundings.”
