25 November, 2020 | Local, Planning

PERMISSION is being sought to turn a shop unit in Kilmacolm into a hot food takeaway.

An application has been submitted to Inverclyde Council for premises formerly used as a post office at 1 Ardgowan Place beside Port Glasgow Road at Market Place in the centre of the village.

Documents submitted to the planning department state the anticipated opening hours would be 2pm to 11pm, seven days a week.

No details are given about what kind of takeaway it would be but the proposed layout includes fryers.

The proposal is pending consideration by officials.
