ARDGOWAN Hospice have announced that their recent urgent appeal raised £167,000.
The Greenock hospice stated on their website: “We are completely overwhelmed by the generosity, compassion, and support shown by our community.
“Together, the community has raised an outstanding £167,186. Thanks to your donations, we are now in a much stronger position to continue providing vital care to patients and families across Inverclyde. Every single contribution has made a meaningful difference.
“Whilst our appeal has now ended, the reality is that the challenges facing hospices like ours are far from over. Across the UK, hospice care remains in a fragile state. We continue to navigate a difficult financial climate and urgently need more sustainable, long-term support, along with fairer government funding, to safeguard our future.”
