GREENOCK parkrun welcomed 102 participants on Saturday as the the global fitness phenomenon marked its 15th birthday.
The five-kilometre timed events are now held in 21 countries, with Greenock’s parkrun having been run on the Esplanade on Saturday mornings since 2014.
Two of Greenock’s regular runners — Niall Brennan and Gillian Clayton — each celebrated completing their 50th parkrun.
Nine runners achieved personal best(PB) times — Tim Cooke, Calum Brennan, Graeme Boyce, Peter Veryard, Allex Henderson, James Burrell, Jayne Deegan, Susan Anderson, Irene McIntosh.
First male home was Mark Pollard of Inverclyde A.C. in 17.11 and first female was Lynn Harrison in 23.51.
