GREENOCK Philharmonic Choir is holding a Come and Sing event on Saturday 6 August.
It takes place at Clark Memorial Church, Bath Street, Largs. All singers are welcome.
Participants will rehearse and then do a shortened performance of Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elijah.
Rehearsals will start at 10.30am, followed by a performance at 5pm.
The conductor is Andy McTaggart and the Elijah soloist is Ross Cummings.

The choir recently had a successful performance of The Creation by Haydn in Lyle Kirk, Greenock featuring visuals to illustrate the text.
Rehearsals will restart at the end of the summer to prepare for the Christmas concert, and new members in all sections will be welcome.
