FOOTBALL — Update From Port Glasgow Juniors Community Sports Club2003s — The boys had their first league game of the sesaon, against Langcraigs. The teams didn’t let the supporters down as it was an action-packed game with 10 goals, finishing Langcraigs 5 – Juniors 5. Great goals were scored by Seb kesson (4) and Jack Findlay. 2007s — The 2007s had visitors from New York. The Lansdowne Bhoys’ Club are on a Scottish tour and played the Juniors at Parklea. The teams played entertaining football with the visitors claiming a narrow victory. Juniors thank the team for coming along and wish them all the best and safe travels home.
Girls’ Section — The girls’ section thank Catherine from Belhaven Dental Surgery for continued sponsorship. The section starts back on Monday 21 August at the shared campus in Port Glasgow at 6pm. The section is looking for new players. Those interested should go along and ask for Mags.
