UPDATED | Fire At Former Greenock Arts Guild
FIREFIGHTERS attended a blaze at the former Arts Guild building in Greenock.
Four crews responded to the incident in Campbell Street.
The fire was reported around 8.15pm (Thursday) and was under control by around 9.45pm.
Police said today that the incident involved a quantity of rubbish and that there was no criminality.
The theatre closed when the Beacon Arts Centre opened in 2013.
Permission to demolish the building was given several years ago.
