EXTRA Waverley Sailings Added After Sell-Out Success

PADDLE Steamer Waverley’s short season of cruises on the Clyde has been extended.

Demand for tickets has been high with most sailings sold out because of the significant reduction in capacity needed to allow for physical distancing.

Waverley Excursions stated: “We are therefore extending the season to give those who were unable to book earlier the opportunity to sail on Waverley this year.”

The cruises were due to finish on Sunday (6 September) but extra sailings will operate from Tuesday 8 September until Saturday 12 September.

The additional days include two cruises from Greenock — one to Largs and Rothesay, including Kyles of Bute, on Tuesday 8 September, and one to Largs and Brodick, including Holy Isle, on Thursdays 10 September.
