Inverclyde Now Logo DROP-In Consultation Sessions Being Held About Inverclyde Council Budget

INVERCLYDE Council is holding public budget consultation events about savings proposals.

Residents can visit drop-in sessions to find out more and have their say over how the council should close a £5million funding gap.

The sessions are part of public consultation that will run until 11 February examining a range of savings proposals and increases in charges.

An online budget simulator will also be available for residents to highlight their choices. Full details of the savings proposals will be available on the council website from Monday.

Drop-in events are being held at:

Gourock -– Monday 15 January — Gamble Halls, 4 to 8pm

Kilmacolm -– Tuesday 16 January — Cargill Centre 4 to 8pm

Greenock –- Wednesday 17 January — Oak Mall Shopping Centre, 11.30am to 3pm

Inverkip –- Wednesday 17 January — Inverkip Community Hub, 4 to 7pm

Port Glasgow -– Thursday 18 January — Port Glasgow Library, 4 to 8pm
