DETECTIVES Make Arrest Over Alleged Bagsnatch From PensionerA 25-YEAR-old man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a pensioner in Greenock.
He is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
Detectives launched a major investigation after the incident involving an 81-year-old woman at 2pm on Friday at the junction of Inverkip Road and Auchneagh Road.
The victim fell to the ground and hurt her head during the alleged bagsnatch.
She has now been allowed home from Inverclyde Royal Hospital following treatment.
