DEFEAT For Morton At CappielowMORTON lost out in a five-goal encounter with Queen of the South at Cappielow.
The visitors went ahead in the 24th minute from a penalty rebound but Kyle Jacobs equalised for Morton seven minutes later.
However an own goal by Jacobs put Queen of the South ahead again 10 minutes into the second half and they extended their lead in the 72nd minute.
An own goal in the 83rd minute reduced the gap but Morton were unable to draw level.
