HOUSEHOLD food waste collection in Inverclyde will be every two weeks instead of weekly from next month.
Inverclyde Council say the small green ‘caddy’ bins will be emptied fortnightly, along with black bin uplifts from 18 July.
The last weekly kerbside food waste collection will be week beginning Monday 11 July.
The change was agreed as part of the council’s 2022/23 budget.
Additional outdoor containers are available free of charge to residents who produce a lot of food waste and can be ordered via the council website.
