WORK To Resume On Port Glasgow Bridge Project
CHAPELTON Bridge, Port Glasgow will be closed again from Monday 1 April until 31 May as widening work continues.
The a £650,000 scheme aims to improve road safety and cut congestion on Glen Avenue/Lilybank Road.
The work initially started on 11 February, but was suspended because of a delay in the delivery of concrete beams which will form the bridge deck.
If the work is completed sooner the road will be reopen immediately.
