RAIL travellers faced continued disruption on Inverclyde’s train lines this morning (Thursday) as signaling problems entered a second day.
Services on the Gourock/Wemyss Bay and Glasgow routes were being cancelled or delayed because of a fault with the signalling system at Bishopton which started at rush-hour yesterday (Wednesday) and led to lengthy delays for passengers.
Disruption was initially expected until noon but by 9.30am services were operating again.
