
PORT Glasgow Library is hosting a free comic con event on Saturday (7 March), for families, teens, and all who love graphic novels.
There will be a mix of bookable and drop-in events. A small prize is on offer for the best costume (costumes are optional).
Dungeons & Dragons slots, for age 12-plus, take place at 11am to noon; noon to 1pm and 1pm to 2pm, and must be booked.
A meet-and-greet with award-winning graphic novel and comic creators Metaphrog is on from 2 to 3pm. Booking is required. The session is for those eight-plus, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Drop-in stalls from 11am to 2pm will include:
- Magic Torch Comics with Paul Bristow
- Create a fantasy map of Inverclyde
- Family board games
- Mario Cart tournament (prize for fastest lap) and gaming station
- 3D printer demonstration
The library will be showcasing its physical and digital graphic novel collections.
