INVERCLYDE carers are invited to a cafe running daily this week
It will be open at Inverclyde Carers’ Centre, Cathcart Street, Greenock from Monday 4 April to Friday 8 April, 12 to 2pm.
The centre says it is an opportunity for carers to reconnect with friends, meet the team and enjoy a cuppa and a cake.
Inverclyde Carers’ Centre manager Kenny McKenna said: “We’re thrilled to be hosting our Carers’ Cafe and we can’t wait to welcome all carers.”
He added “[During the pandemic] the centre has been open by appointment and staff have worked both remotely and in the centre, but now we invite all carers to drop in during office hours or when our groups are on for support, advice or just some time to relax.
“Our schedule of weekly groups for carers offers something for everyone and is a great chance for carers to meet new people and make some time for themselves.
“The team at the Carers’ Centre have done an incredible job over the past two years in difficult circumstances and I want to thank all of them.”
