THE Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club (RWSABC) has donated £354 to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).

The cheque was presented to Patricia Cumming, represented the Greenock Branch of the RNLI.

The boat club is supportive of the work done by RNLI as it has many members involved in sports such as kayaking, rowing, sailing and open water swimming on or in the Clyde.

The donation from RWSABC was raised from the sale of snacks at monthly movie nights organised by member Lesley McLaren with the assistance of other club members.
