PLANNED strike action by Inverclyde Council waste service staff has been suspended.
It follows a new pay offer made by COSLA [Convention of Scottish Local Authorities].
Unions have agreed not to go ahead with a walkout that was due to start on Wednesday.
The revised offer will be put to members for a decision.
In the meantime, there will be no disruption to waste services.
