A 42-YEAR-old man has been charged with drink-driving following a collision in Greenock.
Police were called to Eldon Street at 11:40pm yesterday (Sunday).
A vehicle was found with extensive damage after colliding with two parked cars.
The driver was found nearby. He allegedly failed a roadside breath test and will appear at court at a later date.
Area commander Chief Inspector Paul Cameron said: “This should serve as a warning to those who think that it is acceptable to drive whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs.”
