YOUNG People At Port Glasgow Church Donate Their Easter Eggs

CHILDREN and teenagers at New Parish Church, Port Glasgow have given away their Easter eggs to those in need in the community.

The church’s Sunday Club and Lasers groups decided to donate the chocolate treats to be distributed by Belville Community Garden Trust.

Youngsters Zara, Cora and Cooper, who also attend Newark Primary School, headed over to the organisation’s base in Greenock to hand them over.

Minister the Rev William Boyle said: “Our church kids are absolutely amazing, and we are so proud of each and every one of them, especially how they have dealt with this last year of lockdown and restrictions.

“A big thank-you to our Sunday Club leaders Lorna and Gillian for arranging.”
