A VEHICLE overturned in a Gourock street after it collided with two parked cars.
Emergency services were called to the crash in George Road at 2am on Saturday.
The driver — a 30-year-old woman — had to be removed from the vehicle by fire and rescue crews.
She allegedly failed the roadside breath test for alcohol and was charged. She will appear at court on a later date.
Area police commander Chief Inspector Paul Cameron said: “I am astonished that people think it’s acceptable to drive whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, such behaviour can have devastating consequences.”
