POLICE are investigating three assaults in two days at a Greenock town centre bar.

The weekend incidents happened at the James Watt in Cathcart Street.

In the first, on Friday at 11.30pm, a man suffered a facial injury in an unprovoked attack within the toilets.

On Saturday at 3pm, two males were asked to leave the premises because of their behaviour.

On the way out, one of the males spat on another patron and kicked a door causing it to smash.

Later on Saturday, around 9pm, a man was approached in the beer garden and punched on the face in an unprovoked attack.

Witnesses are asked to call police on 101, quoting incident KC00790820 for Friday’s incident, KC00880820 for the Saturday afternoon incident and KC00990820 for Saturday night.
