POLICE say a car which hit a parked vehicle and didn’t stop at the scene would have been badly damaged.

The incident happened around 6:20am on Sunday on Shankland Road in Greenock.

It’s believed the car involved was a white Suzuki with a red or pink roof.

It made off towards Lilybank Road without stopping.

Sergeant Jason Logsdon said: “The Suzuki would have had heavy accident damage.”

Anyone who can help identify the vehicle is urged to call police on 101 quoting incident KC03181120.
