WITNESS Appeal After High-Value Theft In Kilmacolm

DETECTIVES are investigating after items worth around £50,000 were stolen from a property in Kilmacolm.

The break-in happened between 11am on Tuesday 31 March and 2.20pm on Friday 3 April in the Gowkhouse Road area.

A number of items including watches, jewellery and alcohol worth approximately £50,000 were taken.

Detective Constable Jennifer Kane said: “This was a high-value theft and we are appealing to the public for assistance.

“Our enquiries are ongoing and I would ask anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious around the time of the incident to contact us as soon as possible.

“In addition, anyone with any relevant CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage is asked to come forward as this may be able to assist.

“I am also asking local and online buyers and sellers of jewellery to be aware of any suspicious activity around items being sold.”
