POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a disturbance in Greenock today (Saturday).
The incident happened between 4pm and 4.45pm on Murdieston Street. There were no reports of any injuries. Police have not given any further details about the nature of the disturbance.

Officers have released a decsription of a suspect they are trying to trace.
He is a white male, around 5ft 6in to 5ft 10in tall, with fair hair. He was wearing a black jacket and black trousers.
Sergeant Kevin Carter said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.
“We’d also ask anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
