DETECTIVES are investigating after a mini motorbike was set on fire in the garden of a property in Greenock.
The Stomp vehicle was left at a property Old Inverkip Road and set alight around 2.30pm on Sunday.
Firefighters attended and the blaze was extinguished. No one was injured.
The bike did not belong to the homeowner and they do not know who put it there.
Detective Constable Chris Watson said: “Fortunately no one was injured but the vehicle was destroyed, and the garden area was damaged.
“The fire is being treated as wilful, and we are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to get in touch.”
He also urged people to check any private-CCTV or dash-cam footage from between 2.30pm and 2.45pm on Sunday in case they captured anything that might help with the investigation.
