WITNESS Appeal After 9.30am ‘Hammer’ AttackA 30-YEAR-old man was assaulted with a weapon — possibly a hammer — in Greenock
The attack, involving one other man, happened in Branchton Road around 9.30am on Sunday.
The victim suffered head injuries. He was taken to hospital and later allowed home.
Detectives are treating the incident as a serious assault and appealed for any witnesses to contact them on 101.
