VOTING Opens In Inverclyde Sports Awards
IT’S voting time in the annual search for Inverclyde’s sporting heroes.
The nominations for Inverclyde Sports Personality Awards have been finalised.
Chris Jewell, speaking on behalf of the organisers, said: “Once again we have a great list of nominations across the nine categories of award.”
A full list of all the nominations is on the awards website www.inverclydesportspersonality.com where people can vote for as many nominees as they want and can vote again for them on an hourly basis.
The voting deadline is Monday 18 February after which finalists will be announced Winners will be revealed at the awards dinner in Greenock Town Hall on Friday 8 March.
Chris added: “We are very glad to welcome Amazon as a new category sponsor.”
Tickets to the awards dinner are on sale from Smiths Sports in West Blackhall Street, Greenock (01475 888555); tickets cost £35 which includes a drink on arrival, a three-course meal with table drinks plus tea and coffee. All finalists will receive one ticket.
