MORTON clinched a much-needed win, away against Dunfermline.
The Greenock side went ahead in the 24th minute, courtesy of Jim McAlister.
Dunfermline equalised from a penalty in the 74th minute but Craig McGuffie scored five minutes later to give Morton the victory.
The result comes at the end of a week in which the side’s manager David Hopkin resigned.
Morton are sixth in the Championship after seven matches.
