VACANT ground in central Greenock is being lined up for car service and sales.
Inverclyde planners are being asked to approve valeting, servicing, tyre-changing and repairs at the site in Regent Street.
Second-hand car sales are also proposed on the land beside the M&J builders’ merchant yard, next to the railway.
There would be an office made out of a steel container plus canopies over the valeting, servicing and tyre-changing bays.
The application is pending assessment by council officials.
