INVERCLYDE property agents Bowman Rebecchi have secured a number of deals involving town centre retail and commercial premises in the past 10 days.
The company has announced a flurry of buyers or tenants for units in Greenock and Gourock.
They include:
— An offer accepted for three retail units at 10 to 14 West Blackhall Street, Greenock
— A new tenant for the former Post Office/convenience store at 29 to 31 Kempock Street, Gourock
— An offer accepted for the freehold of a large unit at 14 Westburn Street, Greenock, formerly D&D Amusements
— A new tenant for the coffee/lunch kiosk at 130 Cathcart Street, Greenock
Bowman Rebecchi director Andrew Bowman said the second quarter of 2025 was a busy period for the commercial market with several deals now concluded or about to conclude.

He added: “Bowman Rebecchi has seen a marked upturn in confidence in both the commercial sales and rental markets, with less units coming to market and long-term vacant properties being snapped up.
“The market has been fairly stagnant as businesses tried to recover from the Covid 19 pandemic. With the majority of bounce-back loans now paid or nearing completion for companies forced to accept support, we are seeing much more activity and capital available for businesses to reinvest.
“Inverclyde offers businesses a range of cost effective opportunities with a captive workforce available to support growth plans.
“We hope to see this growth continue for the rest of 2025 and into the future to further support the economic prosperity of Inverclyde.”
