TRAFFIC Calming Plan Agreed For Greenock West End Roads
COUNCILLORS today approved measures aimed at improving safety on a stretch of road in the West End of Greenock.
They voted 8:1 to install speed cushions on Lyle Road and Newton Street.
There will also be footway build-outs to narrow the road at the east and west corners of Madeira Street and Newton Street and at the east and west corners of South Street and Newton Street.
