A 16-YEAR-old was grabbed by the throat during a disturbance about not walking the correct way around a local convenience store.

Police were called at 8:45am on Thursday to an altercation between an older male and the teenage boy at Day-Today, Bridge of Weir Road, Kilmacolm.

Sergeant Jason Logsdon said: “The incident was related to not obeying the one-way system.”

The suspect left the shop before police arrived.
