ICONIC former Greenock cafe premises look set to re-open as a hot food takeaway.
The West Station Cafe at 2 Newton Street closed in November 2021 after more than 50 years operating there, and relocated to 9 Newton Street as a takeaway only.
The vacant unit is now subject of an application for it to be used as a hot food takeaway only.
No details about the kind of takeaway are given in planning documents.
The proposal is pending assessment by Inverclyde Council.
