FALLEN trees have blocked roads, and train services on the Gourock to Glasgow line have been reduced to hourly.
The A78 Inverkip Road, Greenock, was closed between South Street roundabout and Bow Road because of a fallen tree. It has now reopened.
A number of other trees have blown down in high winds across the district.
Disruption is expected for the rest of the day on the Gourock/Glasgow rail line, which has been reduced to an hourly sevrice.
