AN organ recital takes place at Lyle Kirk, Greenock on Sunday (4 May).
Organist and recitalist David Murray will perform from 3pm at the church on Union Street.
Entry is free, but donations are welcome. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served from 2.30pm.
David’s programme will include Bach’s famous Toccata and Fugue in D minor and Coronation March Crown Imperial by William Walton performed at the wedding of King Charles and Queen Camilla in May 2023.
Also, as David’s recital is on Star Wars Day (May the Fourth be with you), the John Williams main theme from the iconic movie will feature.
Other composers include Guilmant, Widor, Karl Jenkins and Phil Coulter.
The audience will be able to watch David’s hands and feet on a screen.
