DRIVERS face a week of overnight closures on the A78 southbound between Greenock and Inverkip.
Amey, on behalf of Transport Scotland, is undertaking essential resurfacing between Flatterton and Ardgowan Distillery from Thursday 12 February until Friday 20 February between 8pm and 6am each night, apart from Saturday 14 February and Sunday 15 February.
The work will require overnight closures of the southbound A78 between Flatterton Road and Bankfoot Roundabout. Traffic will be diverted via Gourock.
During the work, traffic will be unable to access the A78 from Dunrod Road.
An overnight lane closure on the approach to the end of the dual carriageway, as well as overnight convoy will be in operation on the A78 northbound between the end of the dual carriageway and Flatterton Road. No right turns will be permitted from Flatterton Road to the A78 southbound.
