PLANNING permission has been given for solar panels to be installed on the roof of a Gourock factory.
Inverclyde Council has agreed that James Walker Devol Engineering can put panels with capacity of 341 kilowatts on top of their premises at Unit 2 Faulds Park Industrial Estate, Faulds Park Road.
A report by planners stated: “The scale and shallow angle on the roof ensures that the proposal will not be prominently visible from the public realm nearby.”
