CVS Inverclyde continues its series of free online Covid Conversations, this time with its Volunteer Inverclyde team who will provide guidance on managing volunteers after Covid-19.
The free Future of Volunteering in Inverclyde Zoom session will take place on Tuesday 14 July at 10am. It will be hosted by Catriona MacLeod, volunteer development officer with CVS Inverclyde, who also manages the Volunteer Inverclyde initiative.
“If organisations find themselves struggling to accommodate existing volunteers or have concerns about how to reintroduce volunteers -– their role changes, personal protective equipment and social distancing –- then this is the platform where people can seek guidance,” said Catriona.
“While we might not have all the answers yet, we want to help organisations start moving in the right direction and thinking about how they plan to accommodate their volunteers.
“We will touch on legacy and recognition for those who may be facing a surplus of volunteers, having recruited more people during the Covid-19 crisis period but who are now no longer all needed as we gradually move forward.”
People can book via Eventbrite.
