Pauline Kane, director of Beacon Arts Centre, said: “I am delighted to welcome Karen and Lesley to the team. They bring a wealth of experience to their respective roles and I look forward to working alongside them as we embark on the next exciting stage of the Beacon’s journey, delivering a diverse and accessible programme for the people of Inverclyde and beyond, both in our wonderful venue and in the community.”

Karen said: “I am delighted to have joined the Beacon team to continue their work to light up lives in Inverclyde. The pandemic has disproportionately impacted communities and the arts here, but that also brings great opportunities for our work.

“I will be in charge of day-to-day operations as we welcome audiences and visitors back to the Beacon and put on our new shows, exhibitions and classes.”
