GOUROCK athlete Georgia Morrison continued her rich vein of form with a season’s best time over 400 metres.
Contesting the Scottish National open meeting at a sunny but windy Kilmarnock, Georgia competed in the women’s 400 metres ‘A’ race.
A competitive field ensured fast times were on the cards.
A quick start by all athletes saw the entire field coming through the halfway stage together.
With Georgia having the benefit of being in an inside lane, she began making inroads.
Increasing speed around the final bend, Georgia came into the home straight contesting for the top placings as a few athletes pulled clear.
Fighting yet another headwind, Georgia found an aggressive streak to cruise across the finish line, setting a new fastest time for her season and gaining another top placing at a national event.
