SCOUT Group Celebrates Commitment Of Volunteers

THE 32nd Greenock and District Scout Group marked the efforts of its leaders at a presentation event.

Regional Commissioner Ian Hunter gave out the long service and good service awards.

Receiving the Chief Scout’s Commendation were Brendan Mearns, Linzi McCallum, Graham Duncan, Lauren Anderson, Megan McGuinness and Stephen Coyle.

A total of 85 years worth of service certificates were awarded to Annette Wilson (20 years), Mark Sinnamon (15 years), Shirley Cairney (15 years), Graham Duncan (10 years), Joe Monaghan (10 years), Caitlin Monaghan (five years), Jacqueline Marturano (five years) and Paul McGhee (five years).

Peter Sloan was awarded his wood beads in recognition of completing his adult training requirements.
