BIRKMYRE Rugby Club 1st XV kick off their league campaign on Saturday with an away trip to Mid Argyll RFC.
The Bears will be looking for a victory against a team who are joining the league for the first time this season.
Mid Argyll are based in Lochgilphead however are currently playing their home fixtures in Oban while their pitch is redeveloped.
Birkmyre captain Ross Moglia said: “We have enjoyed a good pre-season and look forward to getting down to league business this Saturday.”
