INVERCLYDE’S main recycling centre will reopen to householders tomorrow (Wednesday), council bosses have confirmed.
The facility at Pottery Street, Greenock, was damaged in a fire on Saturday and has been closed since then.
A spokesman for Inverclyde Council said: “We are pleased to confirm that our Pottery Street Recycling Centre will reopen to households from 8am on Wednesday 28 May 2025.
“However, commercial vans and other commercial operators will not have access at this time. This will be reviewed over the next few days.”
