INVERCLYDE Community Development Trust (ICDT) has appointed property specialists, Bowman Rebecchi to support its commercial portfolio.

With a range of premises stretching across Inverclyde, the third sector organisation has several sites available for commercial use in both Greenock and Port Glasgow.

The trust has now chosen Gourock-based commercial property agency Bowman Rebecchi to identify and support potential opportunities.

Bowman Rebecchi have previously worked alongside the trust’s board to carry out a strategic review of a portion of its portfolio, and will advise the organisation going forward.

Acting ICDT chief executive Angela Spence said: “We are delighted to appoint Bowman Rebecchi to further enhance, develop and maximise the commercial opportunities available to the trust through its property portfolio.

“The trust exists to build opportunities within our communities to help empower and improve lives and it is important for the ICDT board that we also support commercial business opportunities for enterprising locals and small businesses.

“Our purpose is to empower people and our communities to realise their potential and we see this new partnership as critical in supporting us to deliver on these aims.”

Andrew Bowman of Bowman Rebecchi said: “It is a further fantastic boost for Bowman Rebecchi to be able to secure this new partnership and work alongside an iconic organisation like The Trust.

“The work that ICDT delivers alongside its fellow public and third sector organisations locally is critical in creating employment and career opportunities for residents and we have been hugely supportive of its work.

“There are several opportunities open to The trust, with much of its portfolio perfect for small businesses looking for affordable start-up, development, or full-time premises.

“We look forward to working alongside Angela and the ICDT board to further develop and support the delivery of its aims.”
