POLICE pursuing a car on the A8 at Langbank used a stinger device to end the chase.
Officers have issued an update on social media about the incident earlier this month.
The 23-year-old male driver allegedly failed to stop for police and drove dangerously.
Police stopped and contained the vehicle after deploying a stinger to deflate the tyres.
The man was arrested and also charged with driving under the influence of drugs and having no insurance or licence.
